VITA
With more than three decades of experience in international film and television, Executive Producer Nina Maag has collaborated
with award-winning directors and some of the industry’s most distinguished actors and creatives. Her work spans major studio productions and acclaimed European cinema, including DAS BOOT IV, THE WAVE and HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS.
Her most recent projects include the script adaptation of the bestselling novel SILVER MOONLIGHT for Netflix and the series WHAT WE FEAR (WAS WIR FÜRCHTEN) for ZDFneo. Among numerous other accolades, she received the Metropolis Award as Best Producer for THE WEEKEND, and the Bronze German Film Award for THE WAVE.
Nina Maag worked as Head of High-End Streaming Content at Bavaria Fiction, where she produced several major series. Prior to that, she served as Managing Director and Executive Producer at Construction Film and worked as an Executive Producer for Barefoot Films, UFA Cinema, and Rat Pack Filmproduktion. She studied Production and Media Business at the renowned University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) and is a member of the German Film Academy.
Since leaving Bavaria Fiction in 2023, Nina Maag has been working as a creative consultant and coach for film productions, executive teams, and writers’ rooms. She advises on project development and budgeting, coaches leaders within the industry, and helps creative teams uncover the light and essence within their stories — the deeper truth that gives a film its soul.
After decades of shaping stories for the screen, she now brings that same intuitive precision to her work as a transformational coach. Where she once revealed the light within a script, she now helps people reconnect with the light within themselves. Her approach bridges structure and intuition, clarity and sensitivity — supporting both individuals and creative processes to move from complexity into coherence, and from vision into realization.
